Hotplate Watch
This is the hub, right here.
If you sit somewhere near the hotplate for an extended period of time, you will see all sorts of food being cooked from all over the world and just how much tea and coffee people go through. It's very interesting. Especially with a glass of Graham's beer and someone next to you to chat to.

Ahhh Sweet Memories!
If you were lucky enough to sample some of Gwen's birthday cake made fresh by Nell that day, then you might be interested in the recipe:
Sieve into large bowl:
1 and 2/3 cups plain flour
1 and 1/2 cups sugar
2/3 cup of cocoa
1 and 1/2 teaspoons bi carb soda
3/4 teaspoons salt

Blend (by hand)
2 eggs
4 Tablespoons melted butter
1 and a half cups of milk
1 and a half teaspoons vanilla

Add wet to dry ingredients
Beat with wooden spoon til well combined
Put in greased dish (could use baking paper) for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees
Can use roasting pan to make cake go further.
When cool, can ice, or cover with ganache, or just cover with whipped cream and dot with fresh berries
.....Lamington lamington? Chocolate icing sprinkled with coconut!
